A New Poem!

Ambika has, today, suggested that I also make this a literary blog, and so I will. I will compose poems and words of the week, though all words will be real and poems don't have to be by me. About once a week, I will publish a poem, almost all anonymously written. Please give all the comments and criticizms you have about the poems I add to my blog. If you do happen to know by whom it's written, please, PLEASE, keep it a secret! And so here goes the first poem:

Autumn

There I walk throught the streets
Wind licking my face,
A waterfall of colors has erupted,
Embracing the world with comfort.
Autumn has many gifts to bring,
and there is no hope of another
Just like it.
And may we accept those presents
and feel it in our Hearts
That Mother Nature loves us,
and all is gret in the end.

Autumn is the one that takes over
Summer
With its shedding of the leaves,
And may there be no other
to ever subside to Winter.
Autumn is very special,
Unique, the only one,
That never envies another
and each year starts crisp and new.

Autumn is always different,
Unique, the only one,
That has settled there,
Always moving,
Alway's changing,
and never quite the same.

And now Autumn retreats,
and leaves memories in its wake.

Please remember not to give away any suspisions of the author. If you would like to guess, please e-mail me (you should all know it by now), but make sure to comment on it first.

  1. Wow! Another one of my ideas used! You should add a Word of the Day gadget to your blog. I agree with the poem; Autumn really does bring many gifts, such the annual harvest and holidays like halloween and thanksgiving. This poem also teaches us to be happy for the gifts of nature, and to enjoy little things, like a flower blooming, or the first orange leaf of autumn...
