The New Word of the Week

The new word of the week is tintinnabulation, my favorite word, that means the sound of ringing bells. It is used in context in Loser, by A. Clements, and The Bells, by E. A. Poe. In the context of The Bells, tintinnabulation is used like so: "...keeping time, time, time, in a sort of runic rhyme, to the tintinnabulation that so musically wells from the bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, from the jingling and the tinkling of the bells."

Update on the contest: it will probably start in the next week, and there will need to be four or more participents. I am now looking for a prize, which I will e-mail to the winner.

The first person who guessed the author of the poem is... (dromroll needed) Carly!

As more people guess the mystery author(s), their names will be posted on my blog!
